Bishop Shanahan National School

Rainbows is a national children's voluntary service with an average of 6,000 children coming into the service every year.

Rainbows support children in groups. There are groups for children who have been affected by the death of a close family member and there are groups for children whose family has changed because their parents have separated or divorced.

The groups participate in a programme of weekly support sessions which commence around 6 weeks before Christmas and run for 12 weeks on Mondays at 2:40 until 3:30. All necessary materials are supplied and there is no charge to participants or their parents.

If you have any questions please contact Ms. Mortimer or Ms. Dillon (Rainbows Co-Ordinators)
