The Minister for Education and Youth, Helen McEntee recently announced the launch of the Redeveloped Primary Curriculum for primary and special schools. This represents the final stage of curriculum development under the Primary Curriculum Framework. In line with this, the Primary Language curriculum and Primary Mathematics curriculum have been implemented in our school over the past number of years.
The Department of Education conducted a Curriculum Evaluation in Mathematics in Bishop Shanahan N.S. in January 2024. The report was published in March 2024, and it can be viewed here

The Department of Education has published a new maths curriculum for children in primary and special schools. The curriculum sets out what children will learn in maths in every school.
