Presentation of National Flag to our school
To commemorate the centenary of the 1916 Rising and to celebrate 100 years since the Proclamation of the Irish Republic, two members of the Defence Forces visited our school today and formally presented the National Flag to the school in a special ceremony. They informed the children about how the National Flag should be cared for and the protocol that surrounds this vibrant symbol of our nation. See photos here.
