Bishop Shanahan N.S. is an Eco friendly school. We are all very proud to be part of the Green School Project.
Did you know Bishop Shanahan has 3 Green School flags?
In 2009, we received our first flag for Litter and Waste.
In 2012 , we received our second flag for Saving Energy.
In 2014, we received our third flag for Saving Water.
Bishop Shanahan N.S. is applying for our 4th Green School Flag in June 2021for Travel. We are promoting the use of sustainable modes of travel wher possible in our daily lives. Why not get involved and support our renewal application of Green Schools this year. Walk, cycle, scoot or park ‘n’ stride to school when possible. Together we can be the change our world needs.
