Skipping for Life Day 2015

We are holding a Skipping for Life day on Friday, 15th May 2015.  We have invited Skippy John from "Skipping 4 Life" to work with all the children in 1st and 2nd classes to teach skipping skills.

The aim of Skipping for Life is to encourage children and adults to skip for health, fun and fitness, while promoting modern and traditional skipping games, including individual skills, partner skipping, double dutch and long rope team games.  Skippy John has over seven years of experience teaching and demonstrating skipping skills in primary schools.

Skipping ropes will be provided for use on the day but if you wish you may purchase one from the coach at the end of the day - Child Ropes cost €7 each / Adult Ropes cost €8 each.
